Yammer on Tour is an interactive, educational and fun event where attendees learn about the benefits of an Enterprise Social Network, and hear from Yammer customers how to build an engaged and collaborative workforce. Yammer began its world tour of 2012, making its first stop in Atlanta on Thursday, February 23.
The event kicked off with a Keynote Address from David Obrand, Yammer’s Chief Customer Officer. He discussed Yammer growth, new product releases, and the future of Enterprise Social Networking. See below for his presentation:
Next, attendees took a deep dive into Southern Company’s Yammer testimonial. Lori Kasserman, Account Executive & Social Media Editor, explained how Southern Company uses Yammer to spread information throughout the organization. She provided compelling stories of Yammer usage for crisis response, as well as fun stories – like the Yammer Photo Day at Southern Company. See her presentation here:
We were also joined by Kathleen Rouse, Global Operations Principal at Manhattan Associates, Deb Silverberg, Social Communications Manager at AARP who shared their Yammer stories on our customer panel.
We were also joined by our event Co-Sponsors who provided attendees demos of our product integrations.
